Authorized work
Refract is a research browser. Use it only on systems and data you own or are authorized to test. You are responsible for your actions and for following applicable law and the rules of the services you access.
Purchases
The browser and manual intercept tools are free. A paid license enables the BYOK agent for 365 days. The initial price is $30 USD per seat, and each seat covers 2 active Macs. The purchase is one-time, not a subscription. Applicable tax is calculated at checkout. A $15 USD renewal adds a year to the same license and keeps its seats. Start renewals from your account.
Refunds and disputes
If a purchase is fully refunded or disputed, its license is revoked, and the agent stops working on each Mac at its next license check. A refunded renewal removes only the year it added. The free browser and your local data are unaffected.
Accounts and keys
Keep your license key and account sign-in links private. You can deactivate a Mac and see your licenses from your account. Your model-provider account and its charges are your responsibility; Refract supplies no model usage credit.
Availability and changes
Downloads depend on a published release. The download page shows the current Apple Silicon installer or says that none is available. Updates may change features. A paid term gives access to the licensed capability during that term, not a promise that every future feature will be included.
